Recent Headlines

Flykitt launches Foodie: Personalized healthy meal recommendations for travelers. Expanding its AI-powered travel product suite with a platform that shows you healthy restaurants nearby that fit your specific dietary needs.

  • Flykitt is building out the ultimate travel wellness stack. They’ve got 1) Flykitt Pack - a carry on kit with wellness related travel items. 2) Flykitt Fit - an app that builds you personalized workouts based on your hotel gym. And now this Foodie platform. Fitness and wellness is built on routine. And all of that usually goes out the window when you travel. But Flykitt is solving that for consumers and helping them adapt on the fly. Really love what they are doing here.

Superpower introduces the Founder Health Coalition. A movement signed by 1000’s of founders, investors, and startup leaders that believe peak performance starts with peak health.

  • As a founder myself, I love this initiative. One of my least favorite parts of the startup/entrepreneur world is the “grindset” stuff that founders preach. Saying you need to be working nonstop and push aside other priorities. Work comes first. Personally, I’d rather enjoy the process and be healthy at the same time. Hustle culture is tired and burnout isn’t cool anymore. Chill out, be healthy, and build cool stuff while you’re alive.

Eight Sleep unveils new Pod 5. The first AI powered sleep system. Which includes immersive temperature control through their mattress cover and hydro-powered blanket, zero-gravity elevation by lifting the upper body to relieve back pressure and improve circulation, and integrated surround sound to calm the nervous system.

  • Sleep is largely regarded as the most important component to being healthy and feeling your best. If your sleep goes, so do you. And while many companies are building sleep related products like supplements and sleep masks - none of these really solve the root problem. Eight Sleep is at the forefront in building the most immersive sleep tech that truly tackles the problem head on. Actively shaping your sleep in real-time and adapting with you.

SuppCo announces expert partnerships. Industry leading professionals from functional medicine to hormone and gut health experts. Including Dr. Mark Hyman, Dr. Natalie Crawford, among others. Giving users access to supplement protocols from these experts to support their health goals.

  • With supplements, most people have no idea what to take. They’re piecing together TikTok advice, Reddit threads, and influencer codes. SuppCo first set out to solve this by building their signature supplement companion app - which gives personalized supplement stack ratings for consumers. And now they are layering on expert recommendations. Turning the experience into a full suite of offerings that guides users and gives them a personalized experience. Cool to see their growth in such a short amount of time.

Endorphins Running premium app goes live. Giving users hyper-personalized training plans, real-time workout optimizations, pace zone adjustments, and integrations with wearable devices.

  • I touched on the running app space in a recent video and how it’s heating up. Strava just acquired Runna. Zach Pogrob is building Aura. And now Endorphins Running officially launches their premium app. The space has been quiet in recent years, but with the boom in running culture - things seem to be shifting. This space has room for plenty of players and it’s what is needed to push innovation. Really excited to see how all these apps develop and adapt.

Oasis Health launches map feature. Giving users to ability to search and find which stores carry water and snack products based on their quality.

  • I’ve been following Oasis since the beginning and it’s super cool to see how far it’s come. Cormac has done a great job building this. The vision is extremely clear. Consumers are flooded with product choices and need to know the true quality of them all, so Oasis provides that data on a product level. Now consumers need to know where to get these high quality products, so Oasis now offers a local shopping experience. It’s a natural segue and brilliant expansion feature.

Growl launches Kickstarter for gamified boxing gym. The world’s first at-home AI powered boxing and fitness coach. Offering an immersive, gamified experience through a digital punching bag, competitions, and real-time feedback.

  • This is the next generation of fitness tech. I call it “Connected Fitness 2.0”. The first wave of connected fitness was all about screens. Bikes, rowers, mirrors - all built around streaming classes at home on a screen. But that era is fading. The next generation is about gamified, real-world movement that is immersive, reactive, and fun. Brands like Avelo and Ares are building smart running shoes, Aviron is making multiplayer equipment, and now Growl is turning punching bags into AI-powered boxing trainers. This is the future.

Hiya Health launches kid’s hydration. Daily balanced hydration made just for kids. Featuring real fruit, Himalayan pink salt, and no added sugar or dyes.

  • I wanted to highlight this because it’s a business strategy that often gets overlooked. When a category gets hot, instead of being the 1,000th brand in the space - shift the consumer. Launch the same type of product but to kids, or even dogs. Same product, but a totally different lane with way less competition.

Paragon Studio unveils gym drawers for UK hotel. A gym concealed in a drawer which includes dumbbells, a kettlebell, and foam equipment. Including a QR code you scan to access a library of workouts.

  • I’ve talked about the trend of luxury wellness hotels and resorts. All of which are massive developments that come with a price tag to build and also visit for consumers. But wellness travel does not have to be extreme luxury and extravagant. It can start directly in the hotel room with baseline items, just like Paragon Studio did here. Really cool integration. Another great example of this is Equinox Hotels sleep experience.
