Recent Headlines

Eli Health unveils the world’s first instant hormone monitoring system. Called the “Hormometer” and is an instant cortisol test through a saliva sample. Syncing to their AI powered tracking app. So you can track hormone levels on a regular basis to help with stress, sleep, energy, and longevity.

  • This has huge potential. Longevity and biomarker tracking has been the hot item the last couple years. But you don’t hear a peep about hormones and your nervous system. Which is one of the most important things for being healthy, happy, and highly functional. It’s your bodies command center. Especially with our world becoming AI driven, tech centric, and struggling with social connection - regulating your nervous system will be as important as ever. Keep an eye on this product and space, I think it’s gonna be the next big trend.

Proper Hotels becomes the world’s first hotel to go seed oil free. With all Proper and By Proper kitchens removing seed oils entirely from their menu. Including canola oil, sunflower oil, soybean oil, and other heavily refined oils. And in place using cleaner, more stable fats. Setting a new standard for wellness and nourishment while traveling.

  • A few years ago, no one cared about blue light or circadian lighting. Now it’s standard at high end travel spots. Proper going seed oil free is the same signal. A signal that what used to be edge case “biohacking” is just becoming baseline health design. We saw it a few months back too, when Sweetgreen came out with seed oil free fries. And this is how it always starts. One brand makes the leap, others follow. And suddenly what used to be niche, becomes the new normal.

Ultrahuman launches home health monitor. A silent home device that understands your space by measuring markers that impact your health. Tracking air quality, humidity, and noise levels to give you actionable insights to optimize your environment for better sleep, elevated mood, and a more aligned circadian rhythm.

  • This is where holistic health tracking is going. Track your body, yes, but also track your environment. And this device from Ultrahuman quietly does that without much effort. But the other intriguing part is you can pair this with their Ring Air, which tracks your body. So you’re tracking both internal and external at the same time. A holistic health tracking stack.

Apple WatchOS 26 brings an upgrade to activity and fitness features. Including a new “Workout Buddy” that uses Apple Intelligence to generate personalized insights and motivation using your workout data. And also a new workout app layout with buttons for custom workouts, timers, music, and notifications.

  • These new features aren’t a game changer, but a nice step forward and slight sign of where Apple might be going. Shifting from just tracking your workouts - to intelligent, personalized training using Apple Intelligence. Early, but worth keeping an eye on.

Camp Social sells out in 24 hours, launches another 2025 camp. The sleepaway retreat for women, founded by Liv Schreiber, has sold out for the 3rd year in a row. It currently has a 60,000+ person waitlist and is growing in popularity.

  • Alright this is another big trend I’m noticing. Single gender community events and retreats. Co-ed wellness clubs and events have been super hot the last couple years, but a lot of them have turned into dating apps in disguise. Potentially turning people off because they feel uncomfortable. These single gender events provide a bit more comfort for that demographic, leading to more genuine and warm connections. People are trying to find their people, and that’s why companies like Camp Social are taking off.
